Sharing a Message of Hope - Life Changing Radio
Since 2003 Reach Beyond (Australia) formerly HCJB Australia has been transmitting from far North West Australia to the Asia Pacific region through short wave radio and today broadcasts programs for 6 hours a day in 31 languages, including 20 South Asia languages.
Reach Beyond is part of a global community committed to reaching unreached people groups with the gospel through the use of dynamic media and high quality programs along with healthcare and community development.
Founded in 1931 in Quito, Ecuador, Reach Beyond (formerly HCJB) is now a global, partnership-driven ministry.
Many people know us as the shortwave ministry that originated in Ecuador which went on to establish hospitals and medical clinics in Quito and Shell. Today the visionary “madness” of our founder Clarence Jones and his band of missionary pioneers lives on around the world. His relentless faith serves as the foundation that drives us to the darkest corners of the earth to reach those who haven’t yet heard of the Saviour who changes lives forever.
Reach Beyond (Australia) carries on that vision through its broadcast ministry. Our shortwave facility is uniquely placed in Australia to deliver powerful messages of hope to remote and isolated communities of the region.
To make the gospel more accessible to unreached and unengaged people groups and those who have limited access to the gospel.
To serve with partners as the voice and hands of Jesus, transforming and equipping individuals and communities.
“We are passionate about bringing spiritual and social transformation to people in remote and unreached communities where hope is needed.”
